faq
1. What age groups do you offer classes for?
We offer MMA classes specifically designed for kids aged 5 to 12 years and teens aged 13 to 17 years. Each age group trains separately with age-appropriate drills and coaching.
2. Is MMA safe for children and teens?
Yes! Our classes focus on technique, discipline, and fitness rather than full-contact fighting. We teach controlled sparring with no strikes to the head and emphasize respect and sportsmanship at all times. Safety is our top priority.
3. What will my child learn in MMA classes?
Participants learn a blend of striking, grappling, wrestling, and self-defense skills tailored to their age and skill level. Classes also build confidence, coordination, discipline, and teamwork.
4. Do kids have to compete?
No, competing is entirely optional. Some children enjoy the experience of competition, but we encourage all kids to progress at their own pace. Our primary goal is to develop skills and foster a love for the sport.
5. What equipment does my child need?
We recommend comfortable athletic wear for training. If your child is enjoying the sport and wants to continue training past the two week free trial, we would recommend the following:
Mouthguard
Headgear (optional but encouraged)
MMA gloves
Shin guards
We can advise on gear suitable for your child’s age and level.

Physical fitness and coordination
Focus and discipline
Confidence and self-esteem

7. Can my child join if they have no prior experience?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed for beginners through advanced students. Coaches tailor instruction to each child’s ability and ensure a supportive learning environment.
8. Does my child have to attend other classes (e.g. Wrestling, BJJ, Muay Thai etc) or can they just do MMA?
It's entirely fine for them to just do MMA. We would recommend they try our other classes if they enjoy MMA. Our other classes will help them progressive faster with their striking and grappling.
9. How often are classes and what are the timings?
We offer two MMA classes per week.
Tuesday 1800-1900
Saturday 1000-1100
10. How do I enroll my child?

It’s normal for children to explore different activities. We encourage open communication and can help tailor their training to keep it fun and engaging. Our coaches are always happy to discuss progress and motivation.
